Non-moving usability laboratory
Our usability lab
We own a well-equipped usability lab in Göttingen which can be adapted to different sceneries for example to an office or a living-room.
Besides conventional video and audio equipments the laboratory has special equipments like eyetracking cameras (eyetracking-system by Tobii Technologys an Eyerespone.Inc) and a camera devised by the eResult for testing mobile applications.
As a matter of course during the data ascertainment we log each test flow with an additional video camera which records gesticulation and mimic of the test subjects.
Oberservation room
Clients and usability experts during the observation
Our trained and experienced experts additionally track the test subjects’ behaviour and note down special occurrences in the adjacent oberserving-room.
You are always welcome to track the tests on the spot. Via a beamer and further TFT displays you and your designer team have the opportunity to observe how the user behave during the tests and to interact with the test subject (live broadcast of the completely synchronised user-experience-scene id est audio, video, display, picture in picture and mouse highlighting).
Furthermore, we provide an internet access and a flip chart to discuss the gained findings.
The mobile test laboratory
A maximum of flexibility offers our mobile usability-lab that can be deployed at our location or at any other locations under particulary conditions.
mobile equipment / lab
On request we set up project-related, mobile labs in Frankfurt, Hamburg, Düsseldorf/Cologne, Berlin and/or Munich (further locations of implementation if required). Even there you have the opportunity to track the test live with a beamer and further TFT displays.
We can set up the mobile unit everywhere where particular conditions are fullfiled: two adjacent rooms, internet- and power-connection.
